Happy to announce that I won first prize in the mixed media category for Paint out Norfolk earlier in July this year. It was a four day event with Plein air Painters attending from all over the country. Painted at some fabulous locations including How Hill, Houghton Hall and the University of East Anglia Campus.
Three category's for prizes where Oils, water based and mixed media, also judges favourites. Judges were Professor Paul Greenhaulgh, Director of
centre for Visual Arts, who also delivered an excellent talk to the artists about the current Monet and two Hockney paintings on currently on display at the sainsburies centre. Etablished plein air artist, George Rowlett and the Castle Museum & Art Gallery Curator, Dr Francesca Vanke .
