Inspired by nature and the power of the elements
Wendy is an award winning landscape painter from Norfolk in the UK.
Her love of the outdoors, the drama and beauty of nature is the focus of her epic landscapes filled with atmosphere and emotion.
Brenda Field, Cambridge District Art Circle
Wendy Kimberley's 'Reflections' painted on her visit to Elsing Hall Gardens as part of the paint out Gardens series is an example of the power of tonal painting, using only black and white. The temptation to work in colour has been subsumed by careful scrutiny of the tomes of the dazzling sunshine contrasting effectively with the backlit trees with rays of sunshine bouncing off the water lilies. A popular choice with visitors.
James Colman , founder of Paint Out.
'A really fantastic piece - really enjoy seeing it on the wall. Vivid colours and lovely depth'
'This is my 2nd purchase from Wendy, and it is as wonderful as the 1st, (The Hidden Path)! It is a large and striking painting, peaceful, when looking at the trees, pool and rocks and yet full of movement and noise in the waterfall. Gorgeous colouring. Dusky and very atmospheric.'

The Painting Process
I was lucky enough to be asked to do an online demonstration using traditional egg tempera for contemporary art fairs in 2020. The techniques I use for ET I also apply to some of my acrylic works. If you want to learn more about my process you can watch below or check out the VLOG section for more art demos.
